I Created a Monster!

Have you ever tried to make something and not followed a pattern and just tried to wing it? Well I did and I shouldn't have! In trying to use a UFO and create myself a machine cover as part of Elefantz's challenge I created a monster!! I used the beautiful mushrooms that I made when I was learning how to do applique with my Mum and ruined them! Not Happy Jan!!! Anyway I accept that it sucks and it will have to do until I win the prize so I can make a gorgeous new one! OOps did I reveal that there's a giveaway as part of the challenge, oh well cat's out of the bag head on over the Jennifer's and you can read all about it.

mmmmmm well you must be unhappy with the shape, size or some other thing cause the mushrooms are drop dead gorgeous Jo....and...if it makes you feel any better; imagine a plain off white American size tea towel that is currently all crumpled and; you've got a pic of my present machine cover....gosh I would kill for those mushrooms...lol;

Wow Jo! Ooh - I LOVE your machine cover! It is so different... and I love mushrooms... they go hand-in-hand with fairies and sprites!

You undersell yourself way too much sweetie! When you said you'd created a monster, I was actually looking for a little sprite amongst the mushrooms!

Grand job sweetie! Love it!

Hugs! Vikki xoxo

It looks good to me, but what a shame if you're unhappy with it. The mushrooms and toadstools are lovely.

Jo ~ What is it that you don't like about it? I happen to think it looks great. The mushrooms make me think of younger years... many younger years ago when mushrooms were very popular. LOL

I agree with the first comment - maybe the pic is too small, but I can't see what's wrong. I know you are a perfect sewer so perhaps it's just not as perfect (this time) as you would like...
